"I like how they combine the intensity of NIN with the deep-end vibe of Joy Division; quite a trick to pull *that* off. NMTA also knows how to write a good hook! That jarring repeating guitar figure in Animus is memorable and really sets the tone for the song."

"I'm loving the sound of Animus. If the rest of the songs are as good as this one, I could see wanting to book and/or see this band live. I get a heavy HUM, Quicksand, and Helmet feel in Animus. Some of the vocals reminds me of Life of Agony, a bit. This is some really good stuff."
